Covid-19 update

Bridge Church Family:

With the heightened awareness and public concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) as well as the ongoing seasonal flu virus and common cold, we want to assure you that public health and your safety are of utmost importance to us.

Here are updates that will impact how we have been meeting and mobilizing:

Sunday Celebration

While we have been very intentional about providing clean, sanitary, and safe environments for people to meet and worship God, we have decided that the most loving thing we can do for you is to transition from physically meeting on campus to meeting with you online.

The quickest way for you to do that is to bookmark facebook.com/bridgeomaha. We will be there every Sunday, 10am until we are allowed to meet physically again.

We will also have upcoming online events like prayer gatherings, connect groups, and kids’ worship activities. We will update our Events page accordingly.

How You Can Help

Our heart in this season is to meet immediate needs but also equip families to worship together and find intentionality during this time of social distancing. We have never been more excited to help shift dynamics at home.

In light of this, we invite you to play a part in building our “church-in-a-box.” These Bridge Boxes will have food, household supplies, and family activities. If each of you provided an item for 10 families, we will easily reach 200 families in our area of influence. We will give priority to Bridge Church families, Abide program families, and Lighthouse Neighborhoods. We will also be needing a few volunteers during distribution.

How We Can Help You

Will a Bridge Box be a blessing to you and your family? We are here to help and we will make it easy for you. Sign-up below and a Bridge Church staff member will contact you immediately.

Need prayer? We have a team who is ready to lift you up during this time. Text PRAY to (402) 809-4008.

How You Can Support Bridge Church

Bridge Church staff members want to keep on doing what they are called to do, to lead you to Jesus and equip others to do the same. Your financial partnership is going to support us in this critical time.

We are working really hard to come up with a solid game plan that we feel would best serve and equip our Bridge Church family in the days to come. We ask that, as a church family, we all pray together as we consider many factors. Our heart is to model how the church can rise up at a time like this and give point us all to the mighty God we serve.

Thank you so much for your understanding, prayers, and support as we navigate this very delicate situation. We are absolutely convinced in the goodness of God and how this will help us be more aware and compassionate, all while increase our urgency to see the Good News of the Gospel shared.

“Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ.”
